Ode to Jones

You know those dork kids that eat a sandwhich and then they blog about it because they’re totally nerds. Well, I’m not anything like those kids. I do however want to talk about Jones Soda.

Jones Soda, let me count the ways I love theeJones Soda, Strawberry Manilow:

Strawberry Manilow is like making out. It’s hard to explain, this is what the label says about Strawberry Manilow.

When we first tasted this drink, its fruity, creamy smoothness seemed to take us back to the nostalgic days of skinny ties and leg warmers, when valley girls ruled the malls and mullets were actually in style. But with each sip it became clearer to us - this isn’t merely a tribute to the foregone era before life became complicated with karaoke and the internet. This is a great…or dare we say, “totally awesome” drink. So, put on your parachute pants and moonwalk with the little guy…create some change.

When Jones says that the soda transports you back to the land where valley girls rule and leg warmers are in, one can’t instinctively think that they’re talking about modern day Utah but no.

Strawberry Manilow fuses Straberry, blackberry and raspberry into a flavor so good that it can only be compared to…well making out. Not that sloppy make out either, that awesome fun make out where you’re listening to cool music and everything is jiving. In fact, Strawberry Manilow is so good that I dare say no more make out is needed! So it with a humble heart that I ask the question.

Strawberry Manilow, will you be my valentine?

Oh yeah, and in addition to being delicious Jones also has cool, unique, consumer submitted labels that give it a more hip feel. Not to mention the custom bottle caps.

Prestor: Nice one!

That cap logo is cool. I wonder if it’s trademarked or if I can steal it?

I wondered the same thing, I really want to put it on t-shirts. If only I knew someone that did screen printing…
