Dude this one time I flew Ryanair and there was a gremlin right outside my window. I tried to tell the stewardess and she was like ‘i’ll believe that when my shit turns purple and tastes like rainbow sherbert’ in a really obnoxious Irish accent. How rude.

Maireadc’s entry really annoys me.. a Blatant statement of company loyalty like “Ryanair (The Airline) will Fly you from : A to B (in Europe)for very Little,
It is the Irish economy “No Frills Airline”
Only for them I would never get to see Family and Friends in Europe, God Bless them, Their Staff are wonderful, they work for a pittance this I know well, Having spoken to them on Many of my trips, but they still do a wonderful Job, You brought your frustrations of your whole trip to Italy to the Ryanair Desk and then made sure the Ryanair handling staff heard your woes, What else do you expect. I’m sure your tickets with ryanair very very reasonable other wise you would have chose another Carrier, But yet you had cheek to complain, next time take a much more expensive carrier and see how much better you will get on. You were unlucky and that is not Ryanairs Fault. I just needed to inform People I personally or any members of my Large Family have had no bad dealing with Ryanair Long may they Fly,” is as pathetic as it is tacky. It’s your blog and your opinion that I want to read… blog on brother.

There’s the bloody pic that generates some sypmathy that i was waiting to see! I hope you get some mileage out of it with the ladies!

At least they allow for people to snail-mail send in complaints. The ones that will most likely never be read and sit in a pile as a few Ryanair employees will probably just look at the pile of complaints and laugh. OR they possibly get more enjoyment from the complaints merely by burning them.

What a coincidence? It’s almost as if Ryanair is trolling for bad comments on their service. Maybe you should do something to correct the situation rather than trying to debase my entry. Like, I don’t know, maybe apologize?

Finally, your referring url shows that this came from your e-mail. Your job is probably to watch for bad entries on Ryanair and go defend the company. You probably have google or technorati set to alert you whenever a new page pops up.

My problem with Ryanair wasn’t that it’s a “no frills airline.” My problem was that they did nothing to help us.

Granted we were 5 Minutes late for checkin on a late flight but I know airlines, I know what they have to do and they could have easily let us on board allowing us to go directly to Madrid as we planned. But they refused to be understanding. They refused to help but went immediately for routes that charged us more money.

Finally, I didn’t try to pin anything on the staff, they pretended like they didn’t speak english so how was I suppose to know that any comments I made were going to be offensive?

Is that not rude?

Contrast this with Continental which we took home. When we checked in they immediately got me a wheelchair they arranaged for me to have better seats so I would have more room for my bad leg, they called ahead so that someone would be waiting for me with wheel chair adn their staff really looked out for me.

I wouldnt’ have a problem with Ryanair if they didn’t treat us like garbage. But then again, that is very european.
