9 – The Movie

Every once and a while I see something so amazing I just have to share it here. Tim Burton is producing a new film called “9″ and the trailer has music from both The Knife and Coheed and Cambria. The trailer is also the coolest looking movie that I’ve seen for 2009. Check it out!

    Coheed is pretty much what Rush would be if they formed 30 years in the future, with a spare guitarist, and if Geddy Lee was a giant Brazilian dude.

    Which, of course, is the musical equivalent of Tim Burton. So this makes sense on a number of conceptual levels.

  • I love the trailer - but I always hoped to produce an epic movie and use "welcome home" by Coheed as part of the trailer.. guess that dream is ruined :(
